Fit Flow

Fit Flow

Fit Flow, a substyle of Embodied Dance, is a specially formulated modality developed by Daniel *Sonic* Rojas from decades of personal practice that takes a wholistic approach to creating strength, flexibility, mobility, coordination, balance and alignment in the body. This incredibly dynamic practice uses creative calisthenics, mobility training and animalistic movements to develop an intelligent form of conditioning for the body and mind. Working from the inside out, Fit Flow focuses on building awareness of the often neglected muscles in the body that are responsible for keeping us fit, aligned and vital. Fit Flow is a complete physical conditioning training that works with progressive exercises, unique flows, and creative movements in order to move with confidence and totality.

Opening

Opening

This sub style of Embodied Dance includes a series of classes and concepts that focus on preparing / warming up the body for training / movement / performances, opening the body for energetic alignment and preventing injury. Performing for more than 25 years, Daniel has gained incredible personal insight on how to open the body and prepare efficiently and effectively for high level performances and trainings. These classes also deep dive into the methodology for opening the body's energetic channels to inspire creativity, connection & fluidity.

Self Expression

Self Expression

Self Expression is a sub style of Embodied Dance that offers unique concepts, such as Body as a Weapon, to further develop the embodiment of emotion through movement. Many movement modalities centralise focus on technique; however a core principle of Embodied Dance is to go beyond technique and access authentic, innate, integral feeling - allowing this to be the heart or driving force of every movement. When one can access this place of presence, the movement itself becomes an authentic form of self expression. Through this authenticity, the dancer becomes the dance, the movement becomes one's own, and the letting go invites freedom.

Floor Technique

Floor Technique

Mastering one's relationship to the ground that supports their dance is an essential component of movement. These workshops include unique exercises, techniques and concepts for deepening this relationship and empowering practitioners to feel the floor in a new way. Whether one is learning how to fall, how to rise, how to use the floor as part of their movement, these classes offer a missing perspective in the world of movement modalities.
